Reflection Assignemnt
Before i took this course i honestly had no perspective on any of the topics that we have disscussed of the last few weeks, but being able to be a part of this class was a real eye opener for me and i am grateful i took the time to read the material i was instructed to read, it sure has helped me have a better understanding about: Cultures, religions, beliefs and the way certain people lived there lives. Being able to learn how different cultures truly act upon one another is very interesting to me and most people just assume since your a certain religion then you must be doing this or that, but if they were to read about it they would be so wrong. Being what i like to call "in the dark" about certain subjects can make one person almost afraid of the truth, for exapmple if one didnt actullay knew what went on during a war and one day stumbled upon some war photographs they can sadly destroy his feelings and make him terrified of what can happen in war. But on the other hand there is a hand full of people who would rather know what is going on so they know what to expect if they were ever to come across the subject and not really expect it. Freedom is yet another HUGE thing we learned about that i think needs way more recignition than it gets, being able to say i live in the "free" country sure mean a lot and says a lot, it dosent mean that you are better then the next person but you are able to say that you are a free person with the freedom to do what you please( with some exceptions of course). I think the most benefital projects/assignments that we did was honestly the journals beause i feel that not only do you grow from what you read or researched but you get to read and understand all the other students points of views and opinions which i think in this kind of class is a huge plus. I am very please with how this class went for me, overall i think it made me a better person then i was when i statred it, i can go into everyday life with a open a dnpositive attitiude and just hope for the best, i know that i am not better then the next guy but hey i can try and make people happy and know that they can live their lives just like me, happy and expecting what ever life throws my way!
